Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is an 8-week, 2-hour per week evidence-based program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts. The program provides in-depth mindfulness training that fosters sustainable and lasting improvements in well-being. Over the 8-week period, MBSR offers incremental learning of mindfulness practices and insights that are accessible to all participants. The program guides participants in applying these learnings to everyday life, empowering them to manage difficulties, enabling them to navigate challenges and foster joy, compassion, and insight. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, this course is perfect for anyone looking to harness the benefits of mindful living and align with their deepest values. This program is being taught by Nadine Anderson. / 8 x Weekly Sessions (2 hours each) on Saturday mornings from 6th July 2024 / 1 Day Retreat (6 hours) Sunday August 11th, is a program included as part of the course curriculum. / Home guided Meditation Practice for 30-45 minutes daily throughout the course. Handbook and recordings provided.
