Service Description
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8-Week Program Tuesday's 7pm-9.30pm 5th August - 23rd September Hong Kong Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week evidence-based program that offers intensive training in mindfulness meditation and mindful movement. Developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School by Jon Kabat Zinn in 1979, MBSR provides a structured pathway for developing present-moment awareness and cultivating the ability to respond skilfully to life's challenges. What to expect with MBSR – Over the course of 8 weekly sessions, participants learn a variety of formal and informal mindfulness practices. These include guided meditations, body scans, gentle yoga, and the application of mindfulness in daily activities. Through this immersive training, participants develop the capacity to recognise habitual reactive patterns and choose more adaptive responses. Benefits of MBSR – Beyond just managing stress, MBSR has been shown to enhance overall well-being. As participants become more attuned to the present, they often report increased feelings of joy, gratitude, and compassion - both for themselves and others. The program also provides practical tools for working with difficult emotions, physical pain, and intrusive thoughts. Whether you're looking to reduce burnout, cultivate more balance, or deepen your spiritual practice, the MBSR course offers a transformative journey of personal growth and healing. Join us and discover the power of present-moment awareness to enrich every aspect of your life.
