Join us for this well-established 8-week course, originally developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, that gently introduces mindfulness as a way of meeting life’s challenges with more steadiness and care. Each weekly 2.5 hour session offers guided practice, reflection, and exploration, supporting you in bringing mindfulness into daily life – moment by moment. The program invites a deeper connection to your own experience and encourages small but meaningful shifts that may support wellbeing over time. It offers gradual, step-by-step introduction to mindfulness practices that are accessible to all – whether you’re completely new to mindfulness or returning to it after some time. Each session includes guided meditations, gentle movement, and opportunities for reflection and shared learning. You’ll explore how to work kindly with your thoughts and emotions, how to be more present in the body, and how to meet difficulty with a little more steadiness and compassion. We’ll also look at how mindfulness can support us in everyday situations – from the simple act of pausing, to making choices that are more in line with what matters most to us. MBSR encourages a gentle turning towards life as it is – with its joys, its challenges, and everything in between. You may find that, over time, you begin to relate to stress in a different way, and that a deeper sense of clarity, care, and connection becomes possible. / 8 x Weekly Sessions (2.5 hours each) Tuesday's 7pm -9.30pm / 1 Day Retreat (5 hours) Sunday 8th February included as part of the course curriculum 9.30am - 2.30pm / Home guided Meditation Practice for 30-45 minutes daily throughout the course.
